Our Approach at 
Montessori Escuela

At Montessori Escuela, we believe that every child is unique and deserves a supportive and nurturing environment that fosters their growth and development. We follow the Montessori approach that encourages children to learn at their own pace and explore their interests. Our team of trained educators is dedicated to providing a high-quality primary Montessori education along with a Spanish Immersion program for children aged 15 months to 6 years. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive community where each child feels valued and respected.

Health & Safety

At Montessori Escuela, the health and safety of our children is our top priority. We maintain a clean and hygienic environment that is safe and secure for children to explore and learn. Our facilities are regularly sanitized, and we follow all the necessary protocols to prevent the spread of illnesses. We have a team of trained staff members who are certified in CPR and first aid and are always prepared to handle any emergencies. We believe that a healthy and safe environment is essential for the well-being and development of our children.

Schedule

8:00am:   Arrival for full day students

8:45am:   Arrival for regular day students

9:00am:   Morning Meeting (welcome song, phonetic sound, mystery bag, group lesson, gross motor dancing, peace activity)

9:30am - 11:30am:  Morning Work Cycle – Child Led Lessons (snack is available)

11:30am:  Bathroom time (toileting attempts, wash hands) – shoes & jackets for outdoors if eating outside

11:45am - 12:10pm:  Lunch

12:10pm - 12:40pm:  Outdoor Play

12:40pm -2:25pm:   Afternoon Work Cycle begins & Snack is available

12:45pm - 2:15pm:   Nap available

2:25pm:   Afternoon circle time (songs and stories)

3:00pm:   Dismissal for Regular Day Students

3:00pm - 3:30pm:   Outdoor play for full day students

3:30pm:   Snack for full day students

3:45pm - 5pm:   Child Led lessons and free time
