Meet Mari Luz

Mari Luz Perez is a native of Colombia. Mari Luz's native language is Spanish. She is also learning English, so feel free to greet her in English! Mari Luz has two children, her oldest is eight years old and the other seven . She has a very positive attitude and is affectionate with the children, bringing warmth and joy into the classroom. Before joining Montessori Escuela she worked in a preschool in the Toddler room where she discovered a love for the toddler years. Mari Luz enjoyed seeing the children discover new things every day.  In her free time she likes to read, cook, and is passionate about learning all things related to skin care. Mari Luz is excited about the field of Early Childhood Education and regularly attends Professional Development courses. Every day, Mari Luz is learning how a Montessori education brings wonder and fun into the children's lives. She thinks that Montessori education is a loving and respectful way to guide children to safe and independent learning.
