Meet Maritza

​

Maritza is a kind and collaborative teacher originally from Bogotá-Colombia; where during her professional and educational growth, she completed a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education that made her fall in love with the academic aspect, which she developed with great enthusiasm for three years before traveling to the United States, especially the city of Boston in 2018.

 

She is very passionate about continuing her path in education homologous to her career when she arrived and has been working as an educator in several schools and preschools, her idea of ​​​​ardently being up to date and at the forefront of each new model of education during this time she has continued her studies and has obtained certifications in the development of the preschool process to further specialize in her career as an educator.

 

Maritza also, during the summer, is tasked with organizing groups to instruct by giving Spanish classes to children whose families are interested in not losing this beautiful language. Mother of two beautiful children who gave her life and drive to be a teacher of the children who come to her and she has to guide. She is always enthusiastic and believes in creating healthy environments and creative spaces. She received a certification in yoga for children, is one hundred percent environmentalist, loves animals, explores nature in her free time, enjoys hiking and yoga, and likes art and reading.
