Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary
Monthly Wildlife Enrichment with Debbie from Drumlin Farm at Montessori Escuela
At Montessori Escuela, we are excited to offer a unique and enriching wildlife experience for our Children's House classroom. Throughout the school year, Debbie from the Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary, part of Mass Audubon, visits our classroom to provide monthly wildlife education. Each visit includes storytelling, unveiling a special guest wildlife creature, and hands-on activities, all designed to foster a deep appreciation for nature among our young students.
In Wayland, we take full advantage of our proximity to the Upper Mill Brook Conservation Area, where students have the opportunity to explore trails, observe birds, and encounter wildlife in their natural habitats. Our Belmont location provides easy access to Beaver Brook Park, complete with trails and beautiful parkland where children can experience nature's wonders right in the city.
These monthly visits and outdoor explorations make Montessori Escuela a special place for children to connect with wildlife and the natural world around them.
